# How to Generate Alpha list DAT?

Generate Alpha list DAT

For instructions on generating **Alpha List DAT**, please follow the steps outlined below.

1.  Go to **Payroll** and select **Reports**.
    
2.  After selecting **Reports**, proceed to section **Annual Reports**.

3.  After choosing the **Annual Reports** option, you will be presented with all the relevant Specific Reports.

4.  Click on the **Alpha List DAT** if you choose it.

5.  Fill out the needed details

    -   **Year** - Choose the **year** for which you wish to generate the Alpha List DAT from the dropdown menu.
        
    -   **Company** - From the dropdown menu, select the **company** for which you want to create the Alpha List DAT.
        
    -   **Branch** \- select the specific branch or you have the option to select **ALL**.
        
6.  After filling out the details, click on the download button.

7.  Once you clicked the download button, it will automatically generate the DAT File.

8.  To open the **DAT File**, just click on **Open File**.
