Leaves- used to set-up the leave policy which applies in company where includes creation of leave categories, leave start, leave filed, leave filing type, accrual of leaves, increase accrual, proration of leaves, carry forward and conversion.
Leaves
Name- The identifier for the type of leave you are creating
Description- Additional details that provide context or clarify the purpose of the leave type
Maximum Leave per month- Defines the maximum number of leave days an employee can use within a month
Leave Category- Specifies the classification of the leave type to be reflected in Timekeeping and Payroll (e.g., Other Leave, Paid Time Off Leave, Sick Leave, or Vacation Leave)
Allow filing if balance reached 0- Enables employees to file for leave without pay (LWOP) when their leave balance is “0”. Options: Yes/No
Allow filing LWOP even if balance is not yet 0- Allows employees to choose between paid leave or LWOP even when they still have a leave balance. Options: Yes/No
Leave type gender- Restricts leave entitlement based on gender. Options: All, Female, or Male
Leave Filed- Determines whether leave can be filed based on Scheduled work hours or a Standard 8-hour day
Leave filing type- Specifies the available leave filing options. Options: Hourly, Half Day, or Whole Day.
Leave Start- Restricts leave entitlement based on employment status. Options: Probationary, Contractual, or Regular.
Status- Indicates whether the leave type configuration is active or inactive
Accrual of leaves
Accrual- It is the feature to set the automatic accrual of leaves
Increase Accrual- It is the feature that can add accrual of leaves based on tenure
Prorate- This refer to the initial leave balance that is calculated based on the month and date of your hiring or regularization.
Carry forward- It is the feature wherein can set the date and number of leaves can be carry on and when it will be expire
Convert to cash- It is the feature wherein can set the number of leaves to be converted to cash
