# How to assign Account Codes and Account Names under Earnings?

Assigning Account Code and Account Name under Earnings

1.  Go to **AanyaHR** and Login to your account.
    
2.  Go to **Payroll** \> click "**Codes**" then select "**Paycodes**".

3.  Select **“Earnings”** from the Pay Code Type list.

4.  To assign the **"Account Code"** and **"Account Name"**, select the **"Earning Code"** you wish to edit.

5.  Click the **“Search”** button.

6.  Click the “**3 dots**” icon to edit the selected Earning code.

7.  Click the dropdown menu and choose the **“Account Code”** and **“Account Name”** that will be assigned to the specified Earning code.

8.  Click **“Save”** button.
