# How to create Cost Allocation? (Uploading)

This Article helps to create cost allocation by uploading in AanyaHR

1.  Go to **AanyaHR** and log in to your account.

2.  Go to **Payroll** tab, then **Set-up**

3.  and select **Cost Allocation**

4.  Click **Upload** button

5.  In documents, drop down the **new allocation**.

6.  Click **Download Template** to use in uploading

7.  Choose Excel and start filling up the template with the information needed in cost allocation

8.  Once done with the fill-up, upload it to **New Allocation** and choose the file to upload

9.  Then, if no errors encountered, clic**k Save**

10.  If there is an error, kindly evaluate the file. Use the error message on the left side to see the errors in the uploaded file, then repeat steps #7 to #9.
