Payroll categories are used to group various elements of an employee's compensation—such as earnings, deductions, and benefits—into distinct classifications. This structure enables businesses to streamline payroll management and ensure accurate reporting. With AanyaHR, these categories can be applied either within a specific payroll run or managed through separate payroll processes.

Here is the list of details for creating the AanyaHR Payroll Category:

  • Creation of Payroll Category

    • Name - Preferred name for new payroll category

    • Description - Preferred description for the payroll category

    • Status - to set if Active or Inactive

    • Payroll Cut-off - set the payroll cut-off to be used in that category

    • Factor Rate - Set the factor rate that the company implements

    • Initial on Daily Rate -

    • Daily Rate - set how to compute the daily rate

    • Hourly Rate - Set on how to compute the hourly rate

    • Hours in a Day - set the number of hours to be use in a day

    • Wage Type - Set the wages type e.g. Daily, Semi-Monthly

    • MWE - to set if the Payroll category you are creating for Minimum Wage Earner or not.

    • Premium Rate Type - to set the ot rates name to be used in payroll processing
