How to File Holiday Overtime for Calendar-based

This is only applicable to filling of holiday overtime for calendar-based calculations

  1. Login to AanyaHR

  2. Go to ESS menu.

  3. Select Filings module.

  4. Click Create button, to add a new requisition.

    Case 1. How To File Holiday Overtime If Current Day Is Regular and Next Day Falls on Holiday

    1. Select the date you would like to file and click "search". e.g. April 8
    Ensure that the date reference was set to the current date.

    1. Select "type" e.g. paid

    1. Select "Holiday or Rest Day" as the Filling type.

    1. Enter your Start Time from "12:00 AM" of the next day

    1. Enter your End Time until the end of your schedule e.g. 06:00 AM

    1. Enter your reason.

    1. Click "Save Changes" so it can be routed to your approver.

Case 2. How to File Pre-overtime Holiday If Current Day Is Regular and Next Day Falls on Holiday

  1. Select the date you would like to file and click "search". e.g. April 8
    Ensure that the date reference was set to the current date.

  2. Select "type" e.g. paid

  3. Select "Pre-Overtime" as the Filling type.

  4. Enter your Start Time from the start of your pre-overtime e.g. 06:00 PM, shift if 09:00 PM - 06:00 AM

  5. Enter your Schedule In as your "End Time"

  6. Enter your reason.

  7. Click "Save Changes" so it can be routed to your approver.

Case 3. How To File Post- Overtime Holiday If Current Day Is Regular and Next Day Falls on Holiday

  1. Select the date of holiday you would like to file and click "search". e.g. April 9
    Ensure that the date reference was set to the current date.

  2. Select "type" e.g. paid

  3. Select "Holiday or Rest Day" as the Filling type.

  4. Enter "12:00 AM" as your End Time

  5. Enter your post overtime as your End Time e.g. 08:00 AM for 09:00 pm - 06:00 am schedule

  6. Enter your reason.

  7. Click "Save Changes" so it can be routed to your approver

Case 4. How To File Holiday Overtime If Current Day Is Holiday and Next Day Falls on Regular Day

  1. Select the date you would like to file and click "search". e.g. April 10
    Ensure that the date reference was set to the current date

  2. Select "type" e.g. paid.

  3. Select "Holiday or Rest Day" as the Filling type.

  4. Enter your Schedule In as your "Start Time". e.g. 09:00 PM


  5. Enter "12:00 AM" as your End Time

  6. Enter your reason.

  7. Click "Save Changes" so it can be routed to your approver.


Case 5. How To File Pre-Overtime Holiday If Current Day Is Holiday and Next Day Falls on Regular Day

  1. Select the date you would like to file and click "search". e.g. April 10
    Ensure that the date reference was set to the current date

  2. Select "type" e.g. paid.

  3. Select "Holiday or Rest Day" as the Filling type.

  4. Enter your pre-overtime as your Start Time e.g. 08:00 PM


  5. Enter "12:00 AM" as your End Time

  6. Enter your reason.

  7. Click "Save Changes" so it can be routed to your approver.

Case 6. How To File Post-Overtime Holiday If Current Day Is Holiday and Next Day Falls on Regular Day

  1. Select the date you would like to file and click "search". e.g. April 10
    Ensure that the date reference was set to the current date

  2. Select "type" e.g. paid.

  3. Select "Holiday or Rest Day" as the Filling type.

  4. Enter your schedule out as your "OT Start".

  5. Enter your post-overtime as your End Time e.g. 07:00 AM

  6. Enter your reason.

  7. Click "Save Changes" so it can be routed to your approver.


Case 7. How To File Post-Overtime Holiday If It's Not Cover Your Schedule
e.g. if your schedule is from 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM on April 8 and you rendered overtime from 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM. This is a special scenario wherein you will split your overtime to 'Post-overtime' and 'Rest Day/holiday overtime.'

  1. Select "Post Overtime" as filling type.

  2. Select your post OT as your Start Time and Enter "12:00 AM" as your End Time e.g. OT rendered from 10:00 PM

  3. Enter your reason and click "save".

  4. Create additional overtime filling and select holiday as your date reference.

  5. Select "Rest Day or Holiday" as filling type

  6. Enter "12:00 AM" as your Start Time and your post-overtime as your "End Time"


  7. Enter reason and click "save".
